Photoshop Magic of Matte Painting

This is my first attempt at the art form known as Matte Painting. Usually Matte painting is used to create landscapes, sets and scenes which is not accessible in real life. Usually they are created for movies, TV and print because building a physical set or traveling to a particular location to film is either expensive or in some cases impossible, because God hasn't created everything which comes into our minds :).

Matte Painting requires a good understanding of light, exposure, color theory and composition, if an artist is to create breathtaking masterpieces. It is created using a mix of digital painting, and Photoshop magic.
